    Take the lid off of the carton.Ā 
  3. Place the Carton in the Freezer
    Now place the unopened carton into the freezer and ensure that it is standing upright to prevent any spillages.Ā 
  4. Freeze
    Leave the unopened carton in the freezer for at least 24 hours.Ā This will allow the juice to expand somewhat without the lid on.
  5. Replace Lid and Freeze
    After 24 hours, you can then replace the lid and store the carton of now frozen juice in the freezer.Ā 

How to Freeze Fruit Juice Into Ice Cubes

If you only ever need a small portion of juice to sweeten sauces or to make icing then this is the approach to take:

  1. Choose Juice
    Choose the type of juice you want to freeze.Ā Most fruit juices will freeze well including orange juice, pineapple and mango.
  2. Fill the Tray
    Pour your juice into the ice cube tray, filling each one up as much as possible.Ā 
  3. Place the Tray in the Freezer
    Now place the filled ice cube tray into the freezer and leave. You can leave them in the tray or decant them into bags.
  4. Bag Up
    If you choose to, you can now pop out the ice cubes and place them into the freezer bags. Ā 
  5. Keep Frozen
    Place the bags of frozen fruit juice cubes back into the freezer and keep them for 8 to 12 months.
